Some vague rumors dropping in between the MWC has claimed that Apple would demo the iPhone OS 4.0 on March 14th. Ofcourse this is immediately shot down with the fact that March 14th is a Sunday. However the question here is will Apple demo the iPhone OS 4.0 before WWDC in late June?
The iPhone OS 4.0 is believed to be holding back some revolutionary stuff that would really change the game for iPhone and also answer a lot of criticism that iPad has received. Given the fact that iPad hasn’t gone well with analysts and the general reaction is not as exciting as the iPhone / iPod touch, Apple might well like to display the OS 4.0 sooner to get some media traction (just as the iPad gets ready to ship).
Our wish list of iPhone OS 4.0 includes multitasking, video calling, Apple Maps and who knows Adobe Flash? And yes, I do belive that this is a hoax and we aren’t gonna hear anything about the iPhone 4G and OS 4.0 (atleast officially) until June!
